With over 50 years of experience in the industry, he’s collaborated with legends like Thomas Dolby and Bob Ezrin, and contributed to major film productions including Star Wars Episodes I–III, Shrek, and Spirit, serving as a dubbing and music consultant across global post-production teams.
Chuck holds both a B.A. and a Master’s degree in music composition and audio production, and brings a unique balance of artistic vision, technical expertise, and heart-centered leadership to his role as Owner and CEO of TechArts. He guides teams across design, operations, installation, and business development—all with the mission of fostering connection, creativity, and a sense of community through technology.

Jason Vandergrift’s love for audio began early, taking apart speakers and mixing middle school assemblies by age 13. After developing his skills in live music and audio engineering, he honed his technical foundation at Citrus College, working in the studio installing consoles and wiring patch bays. Jason joined TechArts shortly after as an installer and office assistant, and has since grown into a lead role in system programming and technical troubleshooting. He also manages the tech department at a local church and supports private events. Known for his laid-back style (sandals over polos any day) and high technical standards, Jason is relentless in solving complex challenges—sometimes even getting manufacturers to write new code.

Leena Fritz has been a key member of the TechArts team since 2019, advancing from assistant to Director of Operations through a proven blend of leadership, technical skill, and strategic thinking. With a background in psychology and counseling, she brings a people-centered mindset to operations, ensuring clients and internal teams are set up for long-term success.
In addition to her formal education, Leena is an experienced audio engineer and accomplished vocalist. She has served as a Technical Director in multiple church settings and continues to provide live sound support for churches, educational institutions, and theater productions.

Suzanne Borland brings decades of experience in both medical and church finance to her role as Finance Director at TechArts. Her love for numbers started early, sitting on her father’s lap, playing with an adding machine, and clicking away on her own toy abacus. After 15 years in the medical field and 10 years in church finance (where she first met Chuck), Suzanne now keeps the books balanced at TechArts. When she’s not in the office, she’s often spending time in Alaska, enjoying the outdoors, or playing with her grandkids. Wherever she is, music is usually playing in the background.

He brings over 30 years of experience in the live event industry, having started as a musician and DJ before stepping into roles as an Event Technician and Technical Director. Most recently, John worked with Disney’s event production teams, supporting everything from movie premieres to large-scale corporate events.
Outside of work, John enjoys composing and producing music with collaborators around the world, mixing for the worship team at Eastside Christian Church in Bellflower, and catching live music and sporting events.

She began mixing live audio at 19 in small venues near her hometown, sparking a lasting interest in AVL. Since then, Jazzmine has mixed Front of House for music venues, comedy shows, and church events across Southern California.
